Description
Description
Made in Switzerland by a cooperative formed by 3 brothers who each have their own farm and pool their milk together to make a variety of cheeses. This is an unusual cheese that is matured for 20 months in caves in the Alps. It has a semi-crumbly texture and the taste is a perfect balance of sweet, sour and salty.
Pairs really well with IPA and whiskey.

Marc Halbeisen –
Good quality Swiss alp cheese is so hard to come by here in the UK however this cironé is a rare find and a real treat. A very hard cheese with a depth of complex flavours that really showcase the Swiss passion for quality cheese!
Marc Halbeisen –
Full bodied complex cheese with a hint of caramel. It’s a very good example of Swiss cheese quality that in my opinion is unrivalled by any other country’s efforts. Recommended if your a fan of tasty hard cheese.
